Consider data transfer, storage growth and external service costs when comparing the whole project budget. ## Use Linux when the application belongs on Linux Choose Linux for a native Linux workload and Windows RDP for software that requires Windows. An optional Linux desktop image changes the total; selecting a graphical interface does not make Windows applications natively compatible. Keep the operating-system decision separate from the payment preference so the purchased server fits the software. ## What your order includes and what to budget separately Our VPS plans are self-managed virtual servers. The quoted entry totals use the included server image, one instance and no optional extras. Choose 3, 6 or 12 months; there is no one-month term.
